Weight Collars

These are cylindrical units fabricated in reinforced concrete that are tied around pipelines, typically in two half shells, to provide additional on-bottom weight.

In addition to our mainstream deep-sea work we undertake a variety of related projects and produce a range of appropriate materials. Here are some examples:

Culverts / Diffusers

Reinforced concrete box sections and plenum chambers for waste-water outfalls to control and direct rain water or treated effluent to outlet points off the coast.

Revetment work

Using precast concrete and mattresses, stabilisation of eroded river banks and coastal areas can be undertaken. For example, erosion can be prevented or significantly reduced by placing interlocking precast concrete blocks as breakwaters.
