One of the most common problems we come across is free-spanning caused by scour, which if not remedied can lead to expensive pipeline damage. We design and manufacture remedial systems using grout bags for this purpose. |

Pre-filled Grout SacksWhere a pipeline is found to have unacceptable free spans through scour or thermal movement, additional supports must often be inserted. This can usually be accomplished by using 70gm woven polypropylene grout filled sacks, flexible enough to be stacked up to provide the required support. Once in position the grout cures to provide permanent, stable support. Standard bags are 25kgs, permitting easy handling on-site. We also supply bolster bags complete with lifting loops in 40- 66kg bags. |
Fabric Formwork Grout Injected BagsWhere larger supports are required, heavy duty reinforced 240gm woven polypropylene grout bags to which the grout is pressure injected can be used to provide sizes up to 2 to 3 m3. hese Grout Bags are lifted into place and can be supplied with or without anti-scour frond attachments. They can be used in conjunction with smaller grout sacks to give complete support, providing permanent solutions to seabed scour problems. They are quickly installed to protect any subsea structure. |
